Meet Linda Basta

Linda Basta- Certified Natural Health Professional

Although Linda’s  formal education was in Social Work, she has worked in the Natural Health & Nutrition field for about 35 years.  It began with selling natural nutritional supplements and continued education  in various health modalities.
Linda is a Certified Foot Reflexologist , a Nutritional Consultant & a Certified Natural Health Professional (CNHP) . She owned and managed a  Health Center in the Buffalo, NY area.  She also had her own interactive radio show and has written many articles for a number of newspapers and journals.  She is active on Facebook and has anther blog specifically about PAIN   http://WhataPainCenter.blogspot.com   She is also active in helping others start their own home based business.

In 1096, Linda developed the auto-immune disease…Rheumatoid Arthritis. Life as she knew it came to a halt.  Over the years, she has found that neither wholistic nor traditional methods of treatment have had much effect on the disease. She deals with chronic pain, inflammation and fatigue.  She also has her bouts with depression.
The purpose of this site and blog is to give those in the same condition…encouragement and hope.

To my readers….

First of all, education and knowledge is power. Power to take control of our lives and not be victims of this disease nor  the medical profession. Then…Hope. My hope is in Him, Jesus.  Hope for the relief of pain…hope for understanding the cause of all auto-immune diseases, hope for effective treatments and even hope for a cure.
I am still a firm believer in nutrition and a number of alternative treatments as an aid and support for the RA sufferer. Although we may not be able to cure anything… we can offset many of the symptoms and side effects from the medications we’re on.

Besides education, I want this to be a place for connecting with others and for emotional support. I welcome your comments about the articles posted, but also, feel free to share your thoughts and experiences with us.
Also, if you register with us, you will have the opportunity to share your posts from your blog if you have one related to RA.

                                                                        To Your Health,
                                                                                                 Linda
